We would like to inform you that, dr Cristiano Eirale, from the Department of Sport Medicine, Aspetar Qatar Orthopedic and Sport Medicine Hospital, Doha, State of Qatar, and lecturer on Weill Cornell University of Medicine, New York, USA, will be guest of the Department for Postgraduate studies in Sports Medicine, University of Belgrade.
Cristiano Eirale is young, sports medicine scientific researcher with high scientific experience in the field of football. Specialization in Sport Medicine was finished in University of Pavia. He completed doctoral study on The University in Copenhagen, under the mentor Prof. Per Holmich, presenting the thesis sports injuries in football players. From 2016. he leads of Football Injury and Illnesses Epidemiology Research for Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League. He has published widely on aspects of sports injuries and has over 50 references and several books and book chapters. In the past, he represented as team doctor Qatar National Football Team, Algerian National Football Team and FC Milano, Italy.
During his visit dr Cristiano Eirale will give a lecture entitled:
“Football injuries and how they affect the performance”.
The lecture will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 15:00 PM, in the Department of Medical Physiology.
